CBT for high achievers that doesn’t ignore the systems you’re navigating.
Welcome, it’s so good to have you here!
Are you exhausted from working twice as hard to get where you are, yet still feel like you don’t quite belong- as though one mistake could undo everything?
When you don’t see yourself reflected around you, self-doubt can feel inevitable. For many professionals and business owners, it can feel safer to put others’ needs first, keep going on empty, and apologise for taking up space. You may be tired of wearing a mask to succeed and unsure who you are underneath it all.
Many of my clients are high achievers navigating imposter syndrome shaped not only by internal pressure, but by systems that weren’t designed with them in mind.
Therapy with me holds both: supporting you to feel less tense, less exhausted from code-switching, and kinder to yourself, even in a world that isn’t always kind. You can build a career and life that feels sustainable, aligned, and genuinely yours.
I offer an inclusive, affirming therapy practice and work with adults from all backgrounds and identities. I have specialist experience supporting neurodivergent clients (including ADHD and OCD), individuals from the global majority, and those within the LGBTQIA+ community. I offer a free consultation (see below), let’s chat!
Hey, I’m Simone - CBT Therapist, mental health expert, founder
Experience
I have worked across higher education, NHS talking therapies, and private practice, supporting a wide range of people with their mental health and wellbeing. I currently lead a Psychological Service in the NHS as a Band 8 Highly Specialist Psychological Practitioner.
With over 10 years in mental health, including 6 years specialising in CBT, I also supervise trainee CBT therapists and provide specialist consultations for professors, consultants, and other professionals. My work spans cultural identity, class, race, and racial oppression, and I provide an LGBTQ+ affirming space for all clients.
I’m a registered member of the BABCP, adhere to their code of ethics, and receive regular supervision to ensure my practice remains ethical, grounded, and effective.
Outside therapy, I work in the music industry, so I understand firsthand the pressures of competitive, creative environments and juggling multiple pursuits — giving me unique insight into the mental load of ambitious, high-performing clients
